AC Kiss and Make-Up Diary: “A Pop of Red”

Hey Lovelies! 

I remember this shoot, “A Pop of Red” like it was yesterday. The model, Mekele didn’t think she was photogenic. She told me: “help, I don’t know what I’m doing!” Well, if you take a look at the pictures, it clearly looks like she’s done this before. Mekele looks edgy, sexy, and chic all at the same time. 

The make-up look is sexy with a natural lip. I wanted something that brought out her round face and brown eyes. Also, I wanted the beauty look to compliment the styling. I’m very pleased with this shoot and I’m happy to say that I loved working with Superdads Photography on another project.

Hey Lovelies, 

So I know I haven’t updated in a while, and I apologize for that. However, I have been working with some new faces and I wanted to reveal my latest work here first. I’m excited to present to you model, Kordney. The shoot was done by Superdads Photography and they created the concept as well. I decided to name this post after the quote by Paris Hilton that is printed across the final image. 

For Kordney’s beauty look, I kept it natural yet stylish and chic. I also did a soft baby pink lip that really makes her face pop! We had a blast playing around with the beautiful scenery for this shoot and I’m so pleased with the end result. I hope you like it as well!

- I love false lashes, they add an extra somethin, somethin. 

- The way I like my make-up done is a smokey eye and a nude lip. I feel it suits me best.

1. Lipgloss: Dior, MAC, Chanel

  • Dior Addict is an amazing gloss that makes your lips pop 
  • MAC Clear Lipglass is a must because it can be worn alone or with another lipgloss or lipstick
  • Chanel has a gorgeous “Rouge Allure (Red)” shade that I adore  

2. MAC: Matchmaster Foundation - I love this foundation! I always keep a good make-up foundation in my bag because a quality foundation is where a flawless face starts. 

3. MAC Lady Grey Eyeshadow - I like the eyeshadows by MAC because I love the pigments and the variety the brand offers. MAC is definitely my go-to brand. 

3. False Lash by MAC - This is my FAVORITE mascara! 

4. NARS Velvet Lip Pencil - This is product is perfect for a quick fix and it gives the lips a nice sheer color. 

5. i.ENVY by KISS - This line of false eyelashes is what I like to call: “The Art of Seduction”.
